Last year around this time I was in Malaysia. I had two great days in Melaka, the legacy town that has beginnings of Malaysia in its folds and visiting a conventional Malay house. It will forever stay to me as the red town, as the majority of its structures are in rust red.

Conventional Malay House - Sentosa Villa
On a little island framed at the turn of the stream Melaka, I saw a few excellent houses in pistachio green with red skewed rooftops. Out guide detected the interest and took us to visit Sentosa Villa, a customary Malay house. Right around 100 years of age and still oversaw by the woman of the house. Haji Fatima is a couple of years more youthful than the house that was worked by her granddad. She takes us around the house and focuses to different things around the house.

There was a divider brimming with music records. Fatima let us know that they are the music collections of her sibling who was an artist. There were intricate beds with customary material on them.
All aspects of the floor was covered with bright covers. Two seats under an overhang looked unique. What's more extraordinary they were as they were utilized during the wedding services to situate the lady and the lucky man. There were old machines like a nearly rusted typewriter. Huge loads of ceramics gathered from different areas of the planet, the family was certain a rich one. A parlor like spot was made for the guests to go through the family collections.
